He's Britain's version of Ricardo Mayorga a little. I was going to say Hamed but I think Mayorga is a more accurate comparison. Mayorga would do crazy shit like bring in golden chickens, smoke cigarettes walking to the ring, and I think he was recorded eating something while on the scale at a weigh in too. Fury flips tables over, sings before his fights in the center of the ring, swears at little kids, etc... They both do crazy shit and it's because, after all, they're not all that great in the ring. It's actually pretty impressive to be able to reach stardom doing something that you're really only slightly above average at ( at its highest level). I imagine Fury's career will go the route of Mayorga's. Mayorga was once quoted as saying something like " I would be fighting anyway, on the streets and in the bars of Nicaragua, I might as well get paid for it." How can you tune that out as a fan? The act ultimately catches up with itself though. I think it's pretty clever though at its peak.
