Well, what do you feel about Harry Simon getting back into the mix at light-heavy?
He seems to be in great shape.

Can he do what? He had a very good fight Winky wright that he just nicked I thought, that's the only fight of his I've seen actually, but somehow I doubt he's improved in the 16 years since Not to mention that was at 154 and he seemed to rely on a very high output... At 40 something and 175, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Physically he is not in great shape... he looks like Thobela towards the end of his career... But the hand skills are still there... and he can use his legs in short sequences. He looked not too bad so far vs Kiss Jr displaying a nice lead uppercut... The result in the Ajetovic fight was controversial... close fight.
Last year Simon was saying in the Namibian press that he had a deal with RJJr... Never materialized
He is now rematching Ajetovic and i doubt he wins easy.
Harry Simon was very fit and resilient fighter he not only beat Winky but beat a lot of our British domestic fighters including taking the hard punches Wayne Alexander. I do not think he can do much at this advanced age.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
He can get in better shape. But he can use a bit more motivation.

His time is over. That's what's up.
He's had too much time off in his career, (below heavyweight) older fighters generally do well because they've been active they're entire careers, Glen Johnson, B-Hope, even Floyd is up there.
Simon was super active in the early 90s then
- 1 fight in '98
- 1 fight in '99
Then he had a bit of activity 4 fights in 2 years 2000-2001
- 1 fight in '02
Then 5 years off
- 1 fight in '07
Then 3 years off
- 2 fights in 2010
Then 1 year off
- current he has had 3 fight in over 2 years, against very average opposition.
Not all the inactivity was his fault, car incidents etc. He'll likely fail in his return, I believe had he stepped up in class while he was active he'd have been exposed anyway, he hasn't fought anyone that good.
Winky Wright is about it.
P.s. Noted that Winky is a step up but other this one fight......
