Default Can Kel Brook make exciting match-ups?

I don't really see Kell Brook as the next PPV star. In fact, I see no one other than Floyd and Manny being PPV worthy fighters. No one else comes close- which is quite sad.

While Brook came out big, his win wasn't a "let's see Brook fight every weekend" kinda win.

I thought Khan may be able to put up a PPV show, but he got his ass knocked out twice. Other than Khan, no one else came close to being considered PPV- not even Broner.

He can be in a lot better fights than that I think, no doubt. Porter is a very very strong guy if not all that much else, was able to take some hard shots to close distance and make it scrappy, it was a tough fight for Brook to show his skills. He does have power and timing, a very good strong jab, obviously he's not going to be a Gatti type fighter but lets see how he'd handle Khan, Thurman, Maidana, etc. No reason to think those wouldn't all be very good at least.

If he can continue clowning premier network media stars , sure why not. I actually thought the contrast to the fighters approach and the kind of sharp shooting..with impact...was fun to watch. It wasn't 'preservation' or time out the clock boxing. He pushed his advantages and exploited mistakes while doing damage.

We were all just assuming Porter himself had answered this question and looked forward to him blazing fire in the ring, and he tried with all his might to continue 'excitement' while looking to much bigger ppv events and elites. His excitement wasn't enough..and he's lucky it wasn't a Floyd in there.

Lol well that was a pretty big statement he made for his entrance to the elite party traveling cross the pond and putting in an effort like that. The Khan/Brook fight is a natural and therE has to be a house in England to hold it or they run the risk of losing it.

The IBF has now ordered an eliminator between JoJo Dan and Bundu. Brook has 9 months from Aug 16 to face the winner of that bout.

So he has one voluntary defense and can fight anyone in the IBF top 15 or a title holder from another Org. That is crucial because Khans WBC silver trinket would qualify since he is not ranked in the Ibf.

Brook has the world by the nutsack but lets give him some time to get rolling after that break out fight. He has probably not even received his official belt yet.

Brook fought the perfect fight against his opponent. His team did a great job figuring out a quality opponent. I'm an American but my motives are driven more so towards a good boxer than nationality. I didn't know a lot about Brook prior to this fight but he impresses me a great deal.PPV worthy or not if he continues at that level of performance he deserves to be a staple on the pay channels. It could be looked at as an ugly fight but I think it came down to Brook following his plan to beat Porter and Porter refusing to make adjustments. I really wanted to see Porter win but Brook won me over. That being said I don't think we have seen the last of Porter. He is young enough where he can learn from this fight and I don't see this putting him down and out for long. I don't see a rematch in the near future. I think Brook wants to use his belt to expand his prospects but money could change that. I do hope to see a rematch at some point but Brook won handedly so he deserves to take on the names and make a name for him self. It was a bit of an ugly fight but Porter fought Brooks fight all night. That shows true talent on Brooks behalf. Long live the queen

Kell can make exciting fights. He has good straight punches which are eye catching. Porter was crude and should change his sport to wrestling. Kell would make good match ups against Berto and Thurman if he wants.

There is no doubt in my mind that Brook will be in big fights. I hope everyone around him tries to get him some good paydays immediately.
Boxing is a business, so Brook should be a businessman, and go for the money in a hard nosed way. That's one of the things the title is about.
    Good luck to Brook.

I really dont understand people. How is Mayweather PPV worthy? Hes not in exciting fights. They are usually mismatches and in general the undercards are weak. Brook v Khan is much more PPV worthy than Mayweather Maidana 2

Floyd is not worthy but he fights on specific days and the hype machine make people believe they need to watch him.

... and this is what makes Floyd great to this extent. He has gamed the game.
