Default Is this 7ft tall guy the future of the Heavyweight Division?

Firstly if i was this guy i'd 100% go with the nickname "BIG DONG"

Seems to have a thumping jab but pretty easy to hit

Early days yet so what does everyone think of his debut?

The other guy seems to fall over very easily, maybe he tasted his power and shit it to be fair.

Def impressed with his jab that does seem to have a lot of power

He would be awkward for any fighter but hes too robotic, he would get outbox against a better boxer. Good jab but he does remind me of Valuev.

This freak show is gonna rake in big bucks one day... let it ride... we have had worse... and if he wins, then who cares?

I see showdowns with Joshua and Wilder at least.

Give the guy a break, he's attempting to cash in on his size.
If the heavyweight division was worth a damn he wouldn't even be making that attempt. IMO
That match was a hell of a lot less frustrating than some heavyweight fights I've seen recently.
Good luck Mr Mountain, the man is huge.

He looks terrible to me, remembering posting about this fight while back. Watch into the 2nd round at some point, the only time his opponent tries to put anything together he tags the guy clean, backs him up easily and gives him a couple of real fits. He does seem to have a powerful jab, but there's no way he'll make it effective at a high level, way to slow and clumsy. I think if he fights anyone remotely decent they will just steamroll him.

If he keeps fighting bums he might make some money just for being a 7 ft Chinese guy though, so good for him.

I'm saying the same thing, let him make what he can then he'll just fade away, like so many others.

Hes got heavy hands obviously due to the weight and leverage. Its a strong jab, I was surprised that he wasnt throwing more straight punches and maximizing the reach advantage. Those sweeping uppercut/ hook hybrids were very very slow and leave large window of opportunity open. I think another large heavyweight wont be affected by that jab as much and and step in on him and drop him eventually. The speed and angle advantages for a more skilled but slightly smaller heavyweight will trump the mass/reach advantage for this guy . Like it did for haye and valuev. As a matter of fact. if Haye is going to fight again. he should step in and make quick work of this guy and then start calling himself the giant killer and try to set up a bigger even with Wilder.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

No...no he is not the future any more so than Julius Long was. Just because you're tall doesn't automatically make you a guy who boxes well just ask Ed 'Too Tall' Jones.

Fair play and gives an honest effort, but Golden Boy is just rolling out the circus tent with this one. He has the maneuverability and coordination of a wide eyed King Kong atop the Empire state building. I've seen him listed as three different ages, three heights and a few different names. Don't even know if they know what he is yet.
