Well fair play , that ticks one of my boxes of things he needs to do. That must be the lightest he's ever weighed in at. He's usually 3 or 4 lbs over. Not gonna learn anything else tomorrow though.
Why did you not believe him?

He is staying in shape and getting down in weight. It is brilliant work.

Psychologically, Saunders has to hope he wins. That will count when they fight.
I never said I didn't believe him, but in the low key fights he's fought to date, he's never made the MW limit, (because he hasn't had to). He's weighed in 4lbs over before now and looked ripped. When that happens, there's always a possibility that to shred those extra pounds can weaken you.
I don't understand what you mean in your last sentence.
Neither do I really but I amsure George Groves would.

Bunce asked McDonagh who it seems has been helping train Saunders about Saunders weight. McDonagh said Saunders was 9lbs over the limit when he arrived and now hes lost a stone, or 14lb. So hes now under the weight he was in his last fight with 4 weeks to go.

Just goes to show hes not big or strong enough to operate at a high level in this weight.
