Default All credit to Wlad's trainer- Jonathan Banks!

Manny Steward couldn't have picked a better trainer to replace him.

Wlad looked well in shape, crisp with his punches, didn't look to hold as much, plus he had some bounce in his step and the courage to return immediate fire.

When was the last time we saw Wlad use a left hook? Let alone use it in return fire?? The left hook that ended Pulev was a return shot after Pulev hit Wlad with a right and then straight left.

Wlad took the shot, bounced a little to his right and left, then came back through the guard with a sweeping and HARD left hook that looked like it had everything in it. Accurate and hard.

Credit goes out to Jonathan Banks. He is doing a fantastic job post Manny Steward.

Wlad looked better and better.... stink fest with Povetkin aside, Wlad has ko'd three of his last four opponents. And totally blasted the first out of five, with the shelling of Maruisz Wach who just avoided contact just to say he finished in round 12.

Wach was Banks first time out with Wlad since Manny's passing. Amazing!!

Yeah I think Banks has a solid career ahead of him as a trainer providing he can achieve success with another fighter. It speaks volumes that Wladimir, a guy who is a Gold Medalist, a Heavyweight Champion several times over, and has been on a great run of successful title defenses felt so comfortable in naming Banks his head trainer. Jonathan is only 32 years old, he has had some success as a fighter but was never considered much of a threat in the heavyweight division.

If Banks has the option to train some other fighters he should try that out and maybe he won't need to box anymore. I am certain Banks loves boxing and wants to win a title himself before he finally retires but trainers are a scarce commodity in boxing especially younger ones with the boxing mind of a Jon Banks. I hope he does well in the future and continues to be a credit to Manny Steward's legacy

Why should Banks get any credit? A donkey could train Wlad and achieve the same results. Wlad has stopped many of his opponents before. I do not see any huge difference that Banks has made?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Wlad's fluidity and his use of a left hook. These were never in his arsenal. Ever!

I think his left hook always has been in his arsenal... He ko'd ray austin with his left hand only and used the left hook to put chambers out too.... Klitschko seems to be be trying to be more aggresive in the last couple of fights, that could be down to banks but I think it is wladimir trying to get on american tv and get the unification fight.

Wlad throws that left hook, with any accuracy and purpose, perhaps once every 4 fights or so??

He landed his left hook more in the Pulev fight than he did in his last 4 fights combined.
