Default I'm starting to like James Degale

At first I couldn't stand him thought he was a bit of a prick and didn't really perform too well. He's matured a lot though and you can't fault him for his hunger. He did really well I'm the wembley show as well that was a great knockout! I hope he does well next weekend in a good fight for him. And I hope one day he can shut groves up! I won't ever like him.

I think that was a crowd decision Groves got over DeGale. Brits hated him and he has a very good chance, with support from the Brits, to be a very good and exciting champion.

Brit snarkiness and shittieness almost destroyed that. Just because they don't like the dude personally. Which is shit!

You don't win Olympic gold medals if you don't have some serious natural talents, Degale believed his own Hype and the Groves loss was the best thing that could have happened to him i think....knocked him back down to earth and stopped and made him think.

Agree about Wembley too that was a great performance and he delivered on a massive stage.

Hate the way he likes to sit on the ropes and fuck about, he's so much more effective when he's on his toes boxing the other guys head off.

One of Degale's major drawbacks was that he never USED TO throw straight punches. Always slaps with the palm of the glove, more or less. It's good for racking up points in the amateurs, but you have to throw straight punches if you want someone to respect you in the pros.

He has stopped all that, that was during their first match. He has good PR now.

Degale should have gone to the states , he needs a better trainer to get rid of the wide slapping shots. Jimmy Mac is not a great trainer.

Degale V Groves was a stupid fight really for both of them, I was think at the end of the Fight Degales
got this it was not to be. Groves is a nice guy had a good conversation with him in Manchester,
a few years back. Degales carer seemed to have stalled after he lost that fight, were Groves
went on to fight Froch twice.

I feel Degales style is all wrong for Froch, and he would make Carl look bad Froch looks good if you
stand in front of him, no way in hell is Degale going to do that,! I don't no if Froch would fancy this
fight against a mover like Degale.

I don't want to see him go to the U.S., we have good enough coaches in England

If you watch the last ringside it shows a good side of Degale and he has a seriously good relationship with his trainer. He was training with the paratroopers, was good to watch.
