I'd personally have a film about how Apollo became champ and a bit of a pre story to that. Can't say I'm too interested about his grandson...

Agreed Tam. Apollo was the most interesting Rocky opponent in the series and Carl Weathers looked the part of a champion boxer.

Apollo was a masterful boxer with a great jab and foot work.

I could see that director doing a good gritty boxing film, might be worth a look. I wonder if Stallone would be compensated or just the studio.
