    Default Floyd Mayweather 48-0

    Sorry guys.

I know it can be annoying.

But I want to revive this thread after the fight.

I'm so confident in Floyd's abilities whether its now or 6 years ago it will always be the same result against a nice person but flawed fighter in manny pac.

May the best man win but let's save this thread for the pro mayweather fans and the "told you so" smug mode that is due in May.

Let's keep this thread about the various ways that floyd will breakdown manny and how you feel he will intend to do it.

It's not going to be hard...just follow the marquez blueprint or any of the other 4 losses. (Dont be angry about this, just accept it)

Floyd is older than manny and should have faded as well but will be soooooo sharp in this fight.

I look forward to a fantastic 10 week build up excuses and déjà vu arguements...

Apparently the MGM sold out in 15 minutes. Have not seen the fine print but it appears to be a trilogy. I think Floyd might get stopped in the first go and be reborn and win two straight.

The fight may not really mean that much historically based on its timing but Floyd winning 3 straight over Manny and finishing with 50 and 0 would be something else.

Pacquioa has shown that he hasn't got much without PEDs. Floyd by SD but should be UD.

In mannys defence, it was never proven that he took peds but it does seem strange why he hasn't left top rank and also why his performance has dropped after ariza departure.

Either way, he would never have beaten floyd and this will close the arguement forever.

And yet Floyd looked half spent twice against Maidana with the same man on his payroll.

I'm not naive, I know it won't Stop but the allegations of Pac using peds without proof is unjust. Guys who used have been caught, Manny passed every test ever taken. The rumours will continue but with no proof, doesn't seem right to me. I'll say no more about this here as I know it is a Floyd thread. May the best man win.

Thats true but manny is not an mma fighter and doesn't fight dirty.

The sad fact is that manny should have changed trainers along time ago like khan did as Freddie roach has no new tricks up his sleeve.

It's not Ariza that makes him seem guilty. It's the failure to accept a $100 million payday coupled with rediculous excuses like a fear a needles that all but indicts him. Not to mention an obvious drop in performance since he's voluntarily submitted himself to drug testing.

If Maidana and Cotto can take 5 rounds off of Mayweather, then Pac can take more and likely stop Floyd along the way. Mayweather is a great, but is fading and I can see Pac buzzing him all night long. I see Floyd getting beaten up and retired.

You think Suede and Manic Street Preachers are still recording compelling music. Your judgement is sorely lacking!!!

This fight will change both fighters lives.

It will be worse for floyd but just another loss for manny.

Manny is a winner either way as he's fans will always come up with any excuse why he never won.

There was no excuse after the marquez loss though..funny that.

You don't need to make an excuse when someone loses. Most people other than Floyd and a lot of his fans are not so hung up on the idea of retaining that 0. Plenty of people rate fighters with losses as all time greats. For many even if Floyd retires with no losses he still will not eclipse certain fighters with losses on their record.

Ali had losses and he is still the goat in my opinion for different reasons.

Let's not excuse the fact that retaining that 0 doesnt matter!

Every fighter in history wants to keep their 0 but for whatever reason it doesn't always work out that way.

In this era floyd happens to be undefeated and is the best of THIS era.

Ray leonard has losses but was the best of HIS era..leonard would have loved to remained undefeated but Duran had his number that night.

I love carl froch who HAS losses but is he better than JC without any losses.

JC undefeated record meant everything to him and he is arguably one of the best super middles of all time.

Where are you going with this?

There will be a rematch if it is mildly close, just to milk it even more.
