Trust @smashup and beingkoed to bring this post down to the level of sex. You are worse than Bill Paxton.
Brock take some medication. Fraizier was bigger, stronger, meaner than Rocky.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
What did Frazier have that Marciano didn't?
How about fights against several elite fighters who weren't old men and who were also in or still close to their prime as opposed to shot has-beens?
To be fair though Marciano did have things that Frazier didn't, like mob intimidation and weak and old opposition.
Let's be honest, the ONLY reason a 185lb plodder like MArciano was a HW champ was because all sportsmen who were men at all were shot dead from fighting in the most extensive conflict in human history.
Marciano's era represents a major dip in competition level which only really occurs during major epidemics or wars.
Now Joe Frazier was right up there among the most useless boxers to ever make it big time but he was 210lbs, he would have decapitated Marciano imo. His chin failed dismally against what we would today call a SHW but against a blown up LHW like MArciano, how could he fail!
I respect Rocky for his achievements but common sense has to prevail here.
His 49-0 record featured not ONE, Not ONE SINGLE DECENT OPPONENT!

Joe Lewis was not a credible opponent? he was only 37 years old. George Foreman until he was 49. Larry Holmes for until he was 47. The Klitschkos are in their mid forties.please. Charles was not a credible opponent what are you smoking. Archie Moore and Roland la starza and don cockell were not credible opponents? Jersey Joe Walcott was not hit a credible opponent? Harry kid Matthews was not a credible opponent?
Joe Frazier
Did have a more competitive group of Challengers.

Well I think Joe Louis was among Marciano's best opponents, despite his age.
But how was he any better (as he was when he fought Rocky) than some of the opponents Frazier fought, like Ali for instance?
Charles and that were good quality boxers but again, they were not HW's as we describe them today.
Frazier himself only boxed 17 times against real HW's and lost 4 times (2ce convincingly) and his record was riddled with bums also, but still I think he beat the somewhat better fighters and still I think he could beat MArciano.
Rocky could beat Frazier for all I know, it isn't so far apart really, this is just my tip.
They both boxed in cruiser bum eras- it's not their fault the time they were born in.

What is it with you and this constant 'they are not HW's as we describe them today' spiel?
Serious question: Do you do this in other sports that you may engage in? Is Michael Jordon just shitty because he aint in the Lebron Era?
Wilt Chamberlin &Kareem Abdul Jabar may have been tall, but they were tall with 1970's food & technology?
Man, you're a riot. Serious, you are knowledgeable, to that I don't dispute. But your bias shows you're more of a fan of boxers, not a fan of boxing.
Really Slim, it's simply just a difficult concept for me to compare THIS...

For me boxing started seriously with Mike Tyson and has continued ever since. I acknowledge previous eras as forerunners of the sport and in a historical sense, but seriously, if boxing was still that bad, nobody would watch it!

An Opponent He Really Hated,
Smokin' Joe really disliked a certain 'clown'.
Hmm, yes I think I can sympathise with Joe on that score.
The world has never had to witness such laricanism in boxing until the advent of Tyson Fury who seems to have finally eclipsed him.
It was great for popularising boxing though, can't take that away from the man.
