I'm not sure what is worse this fight or people thinking Paulie has a chance. On second thought I am sure, come on people Paulie is used up. Porter can't punch and he "hurt me with every shot" according to Paulie himself. It doesn't matter how tough you are when your punch resistance goes it goes. If Paulie could still fight it might be interesting considering how crap Garcia has looked the last few years but Paulie is done.

Porter can't punch? What gave you that idea?

Danny Garcia is no Shawn Porter. He's probably a better fighter but he doesn't have that explosive athleticism that Porter has that allowed him to spring in on Paulie and hit him before he knew what has happening. Garcia is not that fast, and that's what makes Paulie a tougher fight for him.

Judah, Herrera, Peterson all gave Garcia trouble. If Paulie has anything left hell also be able to give Garcia trouble. Garcia still a strong fav but wouldnt be surprised if Paulie nicks it.

Porter is strong physically but his mechanics just don't translate to concussive punching. That's why he has a low KO percentage for a guy with relatively few top opponents. His KO percentage will drop even more(like everyone's does) when he fights top guys on a consistent basis.

I agree Paulie would be tough for Garcia if he didn't have long term concussion problems. If you watch the NHL or NFL then I am sure you have noticed that the guys that have the month long symptoms, 2 month, 6 month etcetera, those guys get concussed very easy. Brains don't just heal. Paulie is done.

Garcia is a joke. Lemme guess..this is the one where he'll actually MOVE UP to full welter
Joke fighters don't beat Amir Khan, Erik Morales, Zab Judah, Lamont Peterson, Lucas Matthyeshe.

He's 30-0. You can say he got lucky in few fight with the decision, but the Peterson was still a very close fight either way as was the Herra fight.
I didn't see 1 person on this forum who thought he won that fight. Herrera beat him but didn't get the nod.

The thing is that Paulie doesn't knock people out, but that is the only possible way he can win this fight as the judges are likely getting paid to give Garcia at least 7 rounds regardless.

The mileage that Malignaggi accumulated over his fights didn't quite show against Judah because he was facing another old lion that was slowing. The Broner performance was probably Paulie's last hurrah. Porter went buzzsaw on Malignaggi and showed his legs couldn't get him out of the way and his punch couldn't even make porter's nose itch.

Without his legs, Malignaggi has nothing to keep Garcia off of him because he is ridiculously outgunned. So for Garcia, even though Malignaggi will be billed as a sage and a wily veteran, this is like a updated version of Salka. Garcia will throw less punches than porter but Paulie's not big by any means... and once Paulie's legs give out, he's a sitting duck and as Porter showed, Garcia doesn't have to be accurate or even flawlessly technical to rip into him.

I know everyone sees garcia as lazy and confused in his past couple of wins so its his fight to lose... but the way this fight was set up, he's always just a blitz away from the beginning of the end. Though it will be interesting to see Malignaggi lose a close decision and see if his mouth goes loose cannon against Haymon, the hand that feeds him.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.
