in Korea @Gandalf my boss used to take me out to dinner and try to make me eat raw horse meat.

He did talk quite a lot of shit and seemed to live in the past.

I remember reading his top ten heavyweights of all time list and he had Jack Dempsey at number one. I call that "exhibit A" when I refer to him talking shit.

Carnera isnt qualified to beat either Klitschko!

Anybody who leaves out Lennox Lewis in his top 100...a guy that would have destroyed the field in any era in history cant be taken seriously.

Yes. He was a fucking fraud.

Not knowing shit about a subject never stopped him from talking about it, or even writing a book about it.

I remember he wrote a book about pro wrestling, and in it he claimed that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's real name was Rocky Melvin, among other gems.

Not surprised he did that, I'm sure he had a better eye for play fighting.

Bert was a character and was fun to listen to but you knew when he talked crap that was it.
