Thread: Ortiz vs Thompson and Vargas vs Ali.

Thompson talked his way into the fight. Good on Ortiz for answering the call. Not an ideal opponent but credible enough.

Be disappointing if Ortiz doesn't give that boring old plodder a hiding.

Actually a pretty decent double header on tonight, didn't think there was any boxing going on later. Say's it's a 7:30 PT start on HBO. I think Thompson will be way to slow for Ortiz, hoping to see another good showing from the Cuban. Sadam Ali has looked very good to me as well, expecting him to beat Vargas but could be a solid fight, somehow it's for the WBO title

Really hope Tony shows up to fight here! Don't care for Vargas meh style but could be a good clash with Ali. Went ahead and merged couple of threads for fight night.

Surprised Vargas has the physicality here, second half that may catch up to Ali

I'm not much of a Vargas fan. Something about him I don't like. And while he's not as good as he thinks he is, he isn't a bad fighter.

Guys a trip. I think his leg is shorter than the other. Or he's had 5 hip replacements. Ali being racked over here!!! Man
