So , in summary, in your book he's saying "don't bother with head, because you'll hurt him, but give his ribs a good hiding and finish him off!!! Yeah, loads of empathy!

Hope he makes a speedy recovery...was a brutal fight. I guess you can hear what Eubank Snr said how you want to hear it...but i guess asking his son to take him out to the body rather than the face does imply he did not want Blackwell to sustain any more damage to the head

Primo: It's probably at the limit of empathy on what you would get standing in a professional boxing ring.

It's clear to me he's urging Jr to take it out of the refs hands. In other words - knock him the fuck out.

Two rounds later old Eubank told Jr - "get this guy out of here, I don't want it going the distance"

The way Eubank was playing around in the last round I think he took pitty on Blackwell. The lull in the action gave the ref the opportunity to have Blacwell looked at. Maybe one more uppercut and it could have been worse.

The Eubank family strike again. Junior's management team need to employ somebody to do all his motorway driving for him for at least as long as he's in professional boxing.

Taking credit for this compassion narrative has to rank up there with the most disgusting things ever in boxing. Disgrace.

Of course they get invited! Every promotor thanks the press for turning up to press conferences! Hennessey hates the Eubanks, he was foaming at the mouth ringside, probably on the verge of a cardiac with all the jumping up and down!

He was never going to do a press conference to talk about how his fighter got battered by Eubank.

The Eubanks have done absolutely nothing wrong or out of turn. Both did their jobs and did them well. Now they are recieving praise in the media and some sectors are absolutely fuming with it.
