    Default Bully

Can we talk about fighters picking on smaller fighters and not fighting at their own weight class?

    Canelo vs pac next...really?

It’s been that way since 8 weight classes turned to 17 and fighters started taking advantage of dehydration and modern chemistry. Bizier looked like a shrimp against Brook. Morales almost killed himself to make 122 but it paid dividends the night of the fight. Gatti jumping off the scale before the weight registered at the Gomache fight and then almost killing the dude.

Same day weigh -ins would curb weight cheating.

You could say Hagler and Hopkins did it too.

    Canelo failed against Floyd miserably.

Pac at his peak battered Oscar and Margarito so the tables were turned.

True but at the time Oscar was considered the bully so Oscar went down a weight further than he should have.

These seem the norm today. Not only do we see the skill levels stacked in showcases but more so the scale as heavy favorites just throw money at paying a fine. Broner vs Escobedo was the instant we knew Broner was a con man. He bullied the contract, the scale, the network and came in a full blown welterweight for a jr lightweight set up. Escobedo was sitting there the morning of fight eating plates of pasta trying to pack on 'padding' ffs. Canelo and his last minute numbers rigging with Angulo, 154..155..168 ahhh its just a number. Again, the decks are already stacked with actual levels. Danny Garcia and his very own Joey Gamache aka Rob Salka.

Hearns, Moorer and McClellan all steward fighters would blow up by as much as10-15lbs. Overnighter.

Julian Jackson smiled when he said it after his 2nd loss to Gerald McClellan: "He is a really big MW."

G Man walked into fight about the weight of a SMW tipped to LHW.
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!

yes and they make sure they do not put too much weight on after the weight in now.

That’s the rumour but it begs the question at hand. If you can’t make the division weight safely the day of the contest then you have no business being in that division. I mean how can it be safer for natural weight fighters to fight against a guy two divisions higher on fight night then the weight the fight is supposed to be at? Safety?
