Next time I see a dairy cow lead a blind woman across the street, comfort alzheimer's patients and the elderly, detect a bomb on a plane, lead search and rescue teams or simply ease the day when it's darkest by being there..I'll give the cow a pass . In the meantime just get on my plate and bring your milk and cheese. Now cats...guess they are good at flopping on our keyboards and deleting everything and stinking up the laundry room

Different 'cultures', can see that but still turns my stomach to think of dogs and cats while other intended livestock are so readily available.

It wouldn't matter if a cow taught itself to play guitar, wrote poetry and co-hosted SNL. Every time I looked at that cow I would see it grilled and on a plate with a potato.

thing is, I feel sorry for cows and pigs, how shit it would be to be one of those animals waiting to be cut up for my breakfast


but me taking any kind of stand is going to take up time and energy and make very little difference to the world


so im gonna worry about my own shit and eat what I want

I have agonized over this for years and years. Women bleed monthly AND HAVE A RIGHT TO EAT FLESH OF ANIMALS to replenish the blood, muscle tissues and nerves/veins.

Men have NO RIGHT TO EAT MEAT.

NEW RULE: ONLY WOMEN HAVE THE OK TO EAT MEAT.

Thats exactly where Im at right now. I can kill a fish so 'll continue to eat them for a while but nothing else that had a mother and specially nothing with four legs. All this will change if we have to do a fast runner for the islands,its fish and Kangaroos as the staple from that point on.

I can no longer eat eels or fish, they are calling to me in fear, warning me.

I eat strictly spinach, peas, kale, cauliflower, squash, hummus, pretzels, olive oil, lentils, eggplant, peppers, falafel, pizza, rice, pasta, quinoa, and all berries and fruits and cheese/nuts, and BEER.

I'm basically in agreement with Kabong ideally, in that if you couldn't personally bring yourself to kill an animal for food you shouldn't eat it. I haven't eaten pork in years, as pigs are actually as smart and affectionate as dogs, plus their meat is horrible for you. I still eat a little beef and sometimes bison, kind of doubt I could bring myself to take those dudes on, I like the idea of cutting that shit out but you hear things about the meat in fact being extremely healthy if its grass fed etc, and I'm a humanist first after all. Poultry and fish though? Totally guilt free for me. Overfishing is an environmental concern, but on a humane level I don't have any empathy for sea creatures. Birds as well, I just don't care about them and think they are shit animals, I could easily cut chickens heads off if it was the only way I could eat them.

I'd find it easier to kill a person than a cow
but I'd find it slightly easier to eat a cow than a person

Fish is awesome unless its like a drum fish. I eat salmon every week but steer away from farm raised. Then again I never eat crawfish and I live in the heart of it down here. It's not a matter of hurting their tender feelings its just that we had them in SD and called them sewer roaches. Constantly in the drainage canals all covered in shat and such. Could never shake that image.

I cannot kill any.living thing let alone cause it pain or suffering or fright, and please.don't someone be cute and say " every time you scratch your skin you're killing millions of microscopic animals blah blah hlah"

Weight must be falling off you? Do you take supplements for iron etc?

Meat eating nothing wrong with it, I am more concerned with wasting food, we waste far to much food weather it be meat fish or veg.
I enjoy meat and the humdrum droon of Morrissey, sing dull bull shit makes me glad I am vulgar, do we really NO if a lettuce screams when we eat it,! or when we drop cabbage into boiling water.
People like Morrissey get up my nose , a talentless prat duller than dull more fun pulling teeth.
I like meat I don't mind veg food or fish , vegans are a bit strange come across as single minded idiots.
I have know one or two shit hard work, they spend more time reading fucking labels than eating LOL.

As for having to kill the animal that you eat I come from erdington, Birmingham.
If I was to kill the animals I eat I would be hard pushed to find anything other Han rats and mice, I suppose I could travel to kill a cow but then lugging a dead carcass onto the bus just sounds like too much hard work to me

Good question. No. Actually starches can get me fatter than meat. I eat ice cream, pizza, etc.... Not dropping too much weight, but lost 5 lbs.
