Rocky Marciano is a great fighter in my book, but as far as I'm concerned a chin is only as rugged as how hard you protect it. Even with Marciano, when he through a unorthodox combination at Archie Moore, Archie Moore floored him with a right uppercut, which Rocky admitted was the hardest punch he's ever felt. Jersey Joe Walcott was able to set him up a couple of times and was able to hurt Rocky on those occasions. Marciano was hard to hit, his crouch, his cross-arm defense and how he'd crowd his opponents gave a lot of guys trouble. Joe Louis said it himself "He's young, he's strong and he's hard to hit.

Anyways, guys like George Foreman and other punchers are less inclined to get hit when their opponents are on the defensive.
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

    Tito..

No way he was chinny.. Getting flash knockdowns early because of the struggle to make weight and warm up properly pre fight does not make you chinny..

Just before that arguement was brought up i thought i would kill it

Tyson had an extrememly good chin. His KO losses to Douglas, Holyfield and Lewis only occurred after he had eaten tons of big punches that would have KO'd just about anyone else.
