Default If Gatti gets past Gomez...

Our boys at www.boxrec.com show him matched up with Chavez Jr.

It would be a damn shame to see ironman Gatti smashed by a mere child.

    He's fighting Gomez not Brinkley.

Not that it matters. At this stage in his career he wouldn't get past Brent Cooper. And Jeff Frazier would just rip him apart.

He's probably go the distance with Jermain Taylor though

IF he wins his next fight,he'll fight either JCC JNR OR Kermit Cintron.

Kermit Cintron! He would have no chance. Against Kermit the Frog it's 50/50

Cintron's disadvantage is his glass chin but how much power does Gatti really have at 147...

Ker mit-Gatti 50-50?!? I think Cintron would blast him in less than 6. He hits harder than anyone else Gatti has fought! Kermit is undermined because Margarito beat him but there is a good fighter developing there, especially with Steward behind him.

no, but that guy Dundee trains had him near out on his feet. Estrada?

And he didn't KTFO Cintron, he dropped him repeatedly to the point Cintron walked over to his corner and started crying.

Read carefully El Gamo. I said there is no way in hell Gatti beats Cintron.

Kermit the Frog is the 50/50 toss up.

How can Gomez not win this fight?

If Gomez wins and he should for all the right reasons, this does nothing for Gomez IMO.

Gatti is a C class fighter. Can you be reduced to anything less?

If Gomez loses, what class does he fall under?

LMAO about Brent Cooper and Jeff Fraza beating Gatti.

Brent is retired I think and for good reason. lol

It pains me to watch 'Thunder' go on. He has got to much heart for his own good. The fact that Gatti isnt being trained by McGirt anymore and Ward's lack of training experience does not bode well for him IMO. I just wish HBO would give Arturo one final easy K.O to end his illustrious career on a high.

Gatti's titanic trilogy with Ward, the beatings he took from Mayweather and Baldomir plus all of his other have took there toll on the atlantic city warrior. In recent interviews he has been slurring his words. I hope he gets out soon. His presence is good for Boxing and the fans but it is not good for himself and at the end of the day that is what is most important.

I don't think heart has anything to do with it. If a boxing promoter offered me £5,000,000 to get beat up for a couple rounds and fall down a few times until the sympathetic referee saved me I'd sign up without hesitation.

Gatti has it easy. People just pay to see him get beat up it doesn't even matter if he loses, in fact it only adds to status as a gutsy backs to the wall type of fighter.

The only reason the Chavez people are taking this fight is because they think he is washed up. It is not a sure thing yet. If Gatti looks good in his next fight, JCC Jr will not fight him.
