Seen all those... 'Knockabout' is awesome.
Check these out...
Korean movie, 'Save the Green Planet'... amazing, never seen anything like it before. A true original that mixes every genre you can think of into one incredible movie.

Thai movie, 'Shutter'... one of the best horrors in recent times with an ending you couldn't predict in a million years...

'Versus', a Japanese movie with pretty much no plot... the whole movie is like one giant action scene where a couple guys and gals are in a forest which is host to a portal to the "other side"... lots of Zombies, guns and violence! Total entertainment!

Another Japanese movie, 'Blue Spring'... insanely slick and cool! This is one of those movies that just gets better every time you see it. It is worth seeing for the legendary time lapse shot alone, where the actor actually stood for 8 hours looking out into the city from the top of the school as day changed to evening and evening to night. One of my all time favourite movies.

'Fist of Legend'... in my opinion, Jet Li's best and one of the best martial arts movies ever made. Some of the fight scenes are breathtaking!

I have Versus and Fist of Legend. I will try toget copies of the others.
I agree that Fist of Legend if Jet Li's best. I have the uncut verison.

Here are some more movies.
'Kekexili: Mountain Patrol'... based on an amazing true story about Tibetan villagers who set out to confront poachers of the almost extinct Tibetan Antelope. Set in the wilderness of Kekexili, one of the most sparsely populated regions in the world... it is like another planet. Great movie that had a profound impact in China in bringing attention the region and the plight of its inhabitants and endangered species. This led the Chinese government to offer much-delayed support to the protection of local species, and played a large part in the proposal of the Tibetan antelope as a candidate for official mascot of the 2008 Summer Olympics.

This is a Korean movie called 'Crying Fist', it tells the story of two guys who are pretty much down and out and living depressing lives with boxing as their only escape... the star of Oldboy (and possibly my favourite actor) gives another amazing performance, Choi Min-sik... definitely worth seeing this, even if you're not a boxing fan.

Another Korean movie called 'Brotherhood'. It is about two brothers who get drafted into the South Korean army during the Korean war. Very good war movie... up there with the best I have seen.

And another Korean movie (they are on fire at the moment) called 'The Host'. I was lucky enough to see this gem at a VIP screening in Dublin... it was very entertaining on the big screen! A monster movie that combines a lot of genres and showcases some of the best CG monster scenes I have ever layed my eyes on. Don't be fooled by the serious trailer, you will be laughing as much as you are gripping the side of your seat!

My fav. Jackie Chan movie....

CutMeMick... the original sequel to that is called Dance of the Drunk Mantis. It does not star Jackie Chan but it a very good movie.
This is the most intense Kung-Fu fighting scene ever.

I'm sorry, man. I read that post of your when I first got up this morning. For some reason I thought you said the movie had a "beautiful" background. I read whiteguy and thought of Snake in the Eagle's Shadow.
You are right though that fight scence in "Gorgeous" is awesome. I could kick myself...
