Based on what I have seen in Washington, D.C., its my choice. I mean a guy gets banged by another's guy's head and blood then flows freely. The cut becomes hidious. Soon, the fight is stopped based on the cut. The referee calls it a TKO even though the cut guy is way ahead on the cards. The commission, ref, and viewers then look at the ESPN replay which validates the butt beyond any doubt, but the imbecilic commission still says it is a tko stoppage win. Even Stevie Wonder was PO'd.

Yep, D.C. is my choice for a commission made up of a bunch of political hacks. It upheld supported referee Malik Waleed’s horrible ruling that Ishamail “The Arsenal" Arvin “beat” come backing Anthony “The Messenger” Thompson by TKO.

See Below) Appointed by the Mayor, and we all know how good DC's Mayors have been down through the years. " The Mayor of the District of Columbia appoints the three-member Commission based on members' abilities, experience, and interest in serving the public"....Yeah, RIGHT!!!!

The DC Boxing and Wrestling Commission (Commission) is a decision-making body with an administrative support staff to assist in carrying out the daily duties of the Commission. The Commission is responsible for promulgating rules on professional safety and other issues, establishing fees, deciding disciplinary action against licensees, and setting policy for support staff.

The DC Boxing and Wrestling Commission consists of three public citizens of the District of Columbia who have an interest in serving the boxing industry. The Mayor of the District of Columbia appoints the three-member Commission based on members' abilities, experience, and interest in serving the public. It meets every second (2nd) Tuesday each month at 6:30 pm in room 7237 at the DCRA headquarters building at 941 North Capitol Street, NE, Washington, DC, 20002.

Commission members perform appointed duties according to the administrative procedures set by the DC Municipal Regulations (DCMR). There are two professional staff members who assist the Commission Members as administrative support.

They are Dorothy Thomas (Contact Representative) on (202) 442-4472 and Gilbert Ware (Deputy Commissioner) on (202) 442-4344.

But if they are booked in D.C. and win, they will lose so it does not pay to win for losinmg in D.C. WHEN YOU WIN.

D.C. just reversed the Thompson decision which shows just how awful it is that it had to wait this long to do what everyone knew had to be done from the get go.

Thumbs down Re: What is the worse U.S. Boxing Commission?

After watching the referee in the Barrios-Juarez fight and the judging in both fights, I'd have to say Texas ranks pretty high when it comes to a bad ranking.

They had a chance and opportunity to take a stand and do the right thing based on clear and decisive facts that night.Instead they lobbied, huddled and retreated to the crooked comforts that have held this sport back in far too many ways.

They reversed it finally ?? Better late than never but danm shame to play games with a guys lively hood and career like they did.Not to mention, playing the fans for fools.......Even ML Baseball is implementing Instant replay now

HOUSTON....if anyone fights Rocky Juarez there they aren't going to win unless they KO him and even then they may be DQ'd for low blows

Just awful stuff. The weird looking ref in the first fight was unreal. The judges, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Jose Feleciano were really off their game as well.
