Default Mayweather big favourite with the bookmakers.

I've just had a look to see what price you can get for Floyd Mayweather to beat Mosley this weekend and I must admit I was quite shocked to find that Floyds BEST PRICE was 1/4 and Shane is a very good 7/2.

I expect Floyd to win but I also think that the bookies are being a little harsh on Mosley. I am going to have to go for Floyd on points to get anything like value for money and thats only 8/13 best price. Anyone who thinks Mosley can KO Floyd can get a huge 8/1 with Stan James whereas the result I see as being least likely, a Floyd KO is 7/2.

I honestly thought the bookies would have had it closer than this.

    Mosely is 4/1 on betfair.com

Mayweather to win by KO/TKO 9/2

    Mosely by KO/TKO 15/2

    Mosely by decision 19/2

    Maywether by decision 8/13

No one seems to give mosely a chance.

The bookies odds highlight just what a competitive "super fight" this is (not). Basically anything other than a wide UD for Floyd will be a shock.

I can't find a good bet in this fight.

I'm with you here Fenster, about the best bet I can see is the Floyd on points at 8/13. That doubled with Hide to win Prizefighter at 4/5 with William Hill would get you a price of just short of 2/1. Thats about the best thing I can find this weekend.

My local bet website only has win loss for this fight..

Mosley is $4.25, meaning for each dollar you put on, you get $4.25 back.. Floyd is $1.22

I think that's pretty fair.. If you have a look at our poll thread, those are about equal kind of percentage chance of win that our votes point to... I would like to put money on Mosley as maybe he's being a little underrated by the bookies, but I could never put money against Floyd...

Honestly I think Mosley has close to the chance of beating Floyd that Pac does, but I think Pac would destroy Mosley... (sorry to bring Pac into it, I was just thinking what the odds would be like for a Pac/Floyd fight... I think the odds would be pretty much dead even, or even maybe Pac being favorite because of the Pac fever people get..

If I had to bet on this one, I would probably go with Floyd on points... Don't think Mosley would ever KO him..

Mosley has been out of the ring for so long now, bit worrying getting on for 18 months, I just can't see anything but a Floyd win but first couple of rounds will tell us alot about this fight.

Yeah that's look a decent double. Although I don't trust Hide even though he looks a cert

Hide in the prizefighter is an absoloute muppets bet

Nobodys seen him fight anyone of any stature over the last few years and nobody knows a hell of a lot about the other 7 guys he is in with.

At least we've seen him fight (well i have, don't know about you)

3 of those prizefighter guys are well known journeymen/vets. Hide should beat them with one arm.

The 4 novices look nothing. I'd be surprised if any were better than the Germans Hide has been bashing up.

I actually think the double bet with Floyd points and Hide winning is pretty good for 2/1.

I would bet myself but I really want Sugar Shane to win and don't want to have conflicted interests.

    It's www.sportsbet.com.au

Just look down the left side for "boxing"

It is a great website... They actually connect to about 6 other betting agents and get you the best odds from each of them.. Saves you going through a lot of different websites looking for the best odds..

The thing is he is head and shoulders above the rest IMO. I know he's old but none of the other fighters really stand out to me at all. I am looking forward to this Prizefighter though, that said I look forward to all of them.
