i don't want to sound like a wiseass or anything, and i know what you see on film doesn't usually do justice to what happens live, but what was so big about that punch? just a freak shot on the temple maybe? i know everybody is different, but i have seen people take shots twice that nasty and laugh them off.

Some folks handle punches better that others, I also think the one right before it stunned him, but it was probably the one to the temple that caused the spasm/convulsion.
