Confirmed on Espn.com.
Ruiz should be demolished in this fight....look at what RJJ and Toney did to him and now he's facing a bigger guy. Unless Ruiz has developed the skill to stop a counter right cross with something other than his face it should be an unspectacular loss for John Ruiz.
(notice I only commented on John Ruiz)
Haye should take Ruiz out within a couple of rounds.
The euphoria in the UK from the valuev fight really suggests to me haye needs a knockout victory here to carry the bandwagon on
Ruiz is the kind of guy that can make you look real ordinary. To the common boxing fan you`d suggest this to go the distance. But the masses wanna see blood and a sell out o2 arena will not take kindly to haye running his way to a 12round decision nor will the national media
one dangerous horrible bloke
Ruiz wan but looked shite in his last fight, mind you, so did Haye
FYI, Tua was the last heavyweight with any power than Ruiz fought
All ANYONE (especially someone considering themselves a "Prime, true heavyweight, power puncher") has to do vs John Ruiz is slip and throw the right cross, examples

If John Ruiz doesn't get KO'd I would be surprised and I would laugh at the people pulling for the other fighter. The fight should end in Ruiz being KO'd before round 7
Exactly. I think all the boxing followers will be well aware of Ruiz's style, and how he's not going to provide the most entertaining of bouts if it goes the way he wants it.
However, the casual fans, and those who have seen Haye demolish opponents, and rattle the Rock from the Bloc (they should have had me helping with the PR for that one!) will want, and expect to see Haye blast through Ruiz to set up the bout with the Klitschko's that everyone is looking for. A 12 round hug-fest will probably give Haye a decision, but it may turn off a lot of people who tuned in to see Haye beat Valuev.
John Ruiz the punch he's been most open to for the last few years as apparently by the James Toney and Roy Jones clips is the counter right hand or right hand in general. The right hand is Haye's money punch so I can see Ruiz getting caught with it early and often. Could wind up looking like the Maccarinelli fight but lasting longer then 2 rounds.
