Robbed Hopkins and than ducked the rematch. Yeah, I remember Cokezaghe.

True. I'm pretty sure that loss is a thorn on bernard's side but he might have convinced himself long time ago that it was a robbery. That's the kind of weasle he is and a sore loser.

Lol Calzaghe's legacy grows on Bernard's dime.

I actually think it decreases. It's more like "that's why you refused the rematch. You knew it was a gift and you knew couldn't beat him"

It's the reason he turned down a career high pay day

Maybe to an extent but just one close/disputed victory doesn't do too much for your legacy. Honestly, I think that calzaghe just had a good style to beat bhop.

He did beat him though. You can't change that!

Refusing a rematch is not as serious as ducking a fight altogether. Otherwise you'd have to call into question many great boxers who did the same thing.

Calzaghe was awesome! I don't think he's underrated at all. There will always be detractors though.

Whatever you want to believe about Calzaghe being underrated is OK with me, but saying Calzaghe's legacy is still growing because Hopkins is still fighting and winning is nonsense.
Rustico Torrecampo has a KO win over Pac Man, does his legacy continue to grow because Manny is still fighting and winning?
Hopkins is the freak, not Calzaghe.

Either Calzaghe is miles better than all the fighters Hopkins is now beating or Hopkins, like Pacquiao would refuse drug testing, just like he did with Pascal.....
