Ive always been a huge fan of Kevin Mitchell and i had enough faith in him to bet on him against Murray but Im not touching this one.. I dont see how he can beat Rios..
What are the chances of him outboxing Rios for 12 rounds?

Not a good fight for Mitchell, Rios is a very strong fighter and I believe his come forward style would be too much for Mitchell. I think he will be a lot more focused than the katsidis fight, but when Rios will start landing those blows I just think the pace will be too much for Mitchell. He's shown what his weaknesses are Rios definatley has the tools to exploit them. Rios is the real deal, I think he will stop Mitchell within 6.
He has all the ability to outbox Rios, but i highly doubt he can avoid his power and i think sooner or later he will have to trade punches, and against Rios that's not a place where you want to be.
I think he has the ability to use his boxing skills to get him through the early rounds. Just think when his pace slows down, rios pace will catch up with him. His loss to katsidis I think was a confidence issue, he will definatley have confidence again after his good win against Murray. However as I said before rios is the real deal, and would knock Mitchell out. I really don't think Mitchell should be looking for such a strong fighter. There are some top 135 fighters Mitchell can certainly mix with, but Rios isn't one of them.
It's a great fight for Rios at this stage in his career. It's a horrible fight for Mitchell. It's a solid supporting fight for the Pacquiao-Marquez card.
Yes vd he has shown he has chin problems but when your head isn't in a fight like it clearly wasn't and katsidis is a relentless come forward fighter, your going to get knocked the fuck out inevitably. Khan can be seen as chinny but he does what he needs to do for that weakness isnt exploited and I think Mitchell has the ability to do that too. He's capable of wars, as shown against Johanneson and Murray he can definatley can take a punch. If Mitchell has ANY chance, he really needs to put on a boxing clinic. Does he do that? Unlikely against such a strong bull like Rios. IMO Rios will knockout out
Mitchell, because he will knock out any 135 fighter and that won't be down to Mitchells chin its just nobody would be able to stand up if they are taking flush power shots from Rios.
Rios walks through Mitchell!

MItchell is frustrating because he's another one of those tweener who's too big for 130lb but not exactly cut out for 135lbs either..
If he could make 130 comfortably, he'd own the division.
I'm more high on Broner, but have been following Uchiyama since '07 when he beat Hussein, I just think he's been matched solidly from early on & has had the talent to deal with it. Now Mendez is class! Speed to boot! The Salgado bout will hopefully bring him to others attention...

I think Mitchell can win this, he outboxed Prescott and can do the same against Rios.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
