I think Gilbert is in the conversation. Frankie has shown a fantastic standup game. Not many people can outclass BJ Penn in the boxing department. His wrestling is on a high level as well. The only draw back so far is his size. He is a small LW but clearly overcame that against a very large LW in Maynard. Melendez has signature wins against Aoki and Kawajiri. He revenged both his losses to Thompson and Ishida. I have no doubt he can test Frankie but w/o seeing him against some top 5 UFC talent I give the edge to Frankie. Someone to keep an eye on is Chandler who just submitted Eddie Alvarez. I expect to see him signed by the UFC in the near future.
