Got to respect Khan. He'll fight anyone put in front of him. Khan will outclass the kid. But never sleep on us Philly fighters.
Good fight!
Damn this is a tough fight for Khan. Danny Garcia in my eyes is a very good prospect. If Khan had trouble with Peterson, this one will be as close a fight as they come. Khan i predict will get the decision. But lets not count Garcia out , I hope he gets the win if this fight makes it.
Garcia is limited but I can't fault this fight given that Khan needed to find a new opponent on relatively short notice.
The arena will have a ton of empty seats, but that's what you get when you put a fight in Vegas that doesn't belong there.
Amir khan is a bit of a tit and not the most intelligent fighter. He says he wants to concentrate and focus on Garcia but at the same time says he wants to fight Mayweather. He was criticised after the Peterson defeat that he was looking past his opponent and does the same thing again.
The other things is says is that he could fight Manny which is a bit strange because he has says he would not fight him and then on other occasions he says he will. This must make his training relationship with them difficult as both teams will not want to give too much away.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I must admit that I don't know anything about Danny Garcia, what type of boxer is he?
Garcia is a good prospect. I understand why his team took this fight (BIG MONEY), but I have to think his chance of winning is rather small. I think Khan's speed would always trouble Garcia, but Garcia would have a much better shot in this type of fight after a couple more fights at the least.
I understand the money involved, but I feel like his team has bitten off way too much at this stage. Hopefully Garcia doesn't get punished too much.
Khan cant leave the divison until he beats peterson.
oh..boy if an ol lion can kick his butt I think Khan can do the same in an expedient fashion.
For some reason I thought Danny Jacobs...
Does anyone know what happened to that kid after he lost?
Sadly, he developed cancer after his win over Robert Kliewer in March 2011.
