No head movement, afraid to press the fight, content to sit back and get picked apart.

no way to win----back peddling, covering up, retreating, defensive hand position only----long painful night of survival at best.
depressing to see.
just sit there and let the other guy TEE OFF on you---body and head, head and body, teeing off
Some examples if you will Brock.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
Brock, Marciano didn't have great head movement
Wait till Rees fights Broner, he won't be the smaller man but he can pressure and can move his head.
just watched Tyson Fury and Johnson===perfect example.
as for the Rock not having good head movement---wtf? Archie Moore with 148 knockouts said he could NOT hit Marciano AT ALL with the left hook that it was virtually impossible to hit him with his cockeyed stance.
Walcott said something similar that it was a weird realization to suddenly see you could not land properly due to Marciano's weird stance.
Ali liked that slapping lead off left hook (hardly a Frazier hook) but still youd call it a left 'hook' I guess---no way was Ali going to land that on Marciano. Bad choice. Rocky could slip that like an eel and deliver a rib cruncher underneath.
Agreed
And they seem to forget that there is a body attached to the head. I can't remember the last time I seen a decent heavyweight body puncher. Had Tua hung out with Mike McCallum he probably would have been undefeated.
Not many fighters know how to go to the body to set up punches upstairs, they're always headhunting which is annoying.
Massive generalisation which is unlike you Brock.
What is interesting is watching Tyson clones with black shorts, no socks, trying to bob and weave to copy Mike’s style. It is difficult to pull off and you need skill, punching power and good timing.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
