the fight lasted a whole minute and a half before Nunn knocked him out in a bad way :P

Luke Capuano vs Mike Rossman 1980. Seeing my cousin (Capuano) fight was amazing. I remember how nuts it was and wish I could have been a little older.

I got an uncle who attended many boxing cards in his life. The first one he ever attended was one which took play in Atlantic City. Back in the early 80's. He said he saw Leon Spinks get knocked out and was able to see a young Juliean Jackson knock somebody out. I also remember him saying a Luke or Louis Capuano fought in the undercard. I wonder is it's the same Capuano?

Atlantic City was never kind to my cousin though.....lost both times...I think Jackson was on the undercard along with my cousin...That would have been a nice night to see the fights...

one of the first championship fights i attended was Erik Morales vs. Junior Jones at the bull ring in Tijuana. Morales KO'ed Jones in the 8th round and became new champ i think at 122 or 126.

Back in the day i saw JLCastillo in Mexicali and on the same card my uncle fought, they both KO'ed their opponents. Castillo was just getting started in Mexicali.

I saw Boone Kirkman knockout some nobody in Seatte 1967. That was the first professional fight, but I saw fights at the Casino in Ft. Worth as a child, most notably my brother who won every fight by a TKO representing the Panther Boys Club. Lord, that was the late 40s!
