THis could be a good one, I've only seen one fight of theirs each I think, from that I don't see WIlson winning this but who knows. Mchunu looked to have a real skilllset beating Eddie Chambers, while Wilson just had the spoiler, tough guy theatrics going for him in the Glazkov fight. He had three days to prepare I know and made it entertaining, but he just didn't seem to have much in the way of real tools, and his record would suggest he isn't that much stronger at his natural weight. Still, if he's really had much better preparation this time, he could prove me wrong.
This is a damn good little match up, total contrasts in styles. I think Mchunu can be counted as one of the better pure boxers today. A bit of a hulked up Rigondeaux-ish and under the radar. Wilsom stole the show coming in late sub at heavyweight vs Glazkov. He had his moments and was a real character who had the audience in his hand at the final bell. Very interesting to see him recharged at cruiser with proper preparation!
This is awesome also as its on regular cable NBC! Its been a very long time since we had afternoon boxing on one of the 'original' networks. Lets hope they are coming back with more.
Starts in 20 minutes!
Karl Dargan 16-0 fighting Angino Perez 16-5-4. Perez is one tall and lean fella
Dargan having to figure this range out a bit, catching a few uppercut counters and getting put into the corner! Good scrap
1-1 even up...Dargan has taken more punches in this 2nd than he prob has in last 5,6 fights! Damn
Woah...Dargan just got dropped and is hurt!!! Perez hits him when he was down..ref didn't rule that a kd WTF
29-27 after three, Perez. Dargan seemingly cannot get out of or under that 6'2 range!

Close 4th. Dargan with a few sharp counters but inconsistent and turns sideways too much. Perez is body bulling him around, and uppercuts at range and in close. Lean 29-26 Perez
Woooahhh, Dargan lands serious inside one-two uppercut as Perez smothers and is DROPPED! Damn dude, Dargan just turned this hard and dropped him again on his face. Tight little war!!
Mchunu with the shoulder rolling, sharp shooting. Never judge a guy by appearance, this dude is built like a tank but can be slick. Wilson looking for answers in first and a little uncertain. Might want to go back to how he fought Glazkov
This kids a machine, Wilson badly stunned in 2nd round and being picked apart with fast counter shots. Wilson needs to go for broke or be slowly dissected and ko'd
Wilson being hurt with shots off the top of the head, Mchunu cannot miss
40-36 after 4. Mchunu picking his spots...idiot ref Arthur Mercante jr steps in and tells Mchunu...who is in control "come on mix it up"
This guy needs to get over himself ffs. Heres an idea Mercante, get bent and STFU. Seriously
Mchunu in complete control after 7. Wilson storms him start of 7th but get counters with a pin point left hook leaving him falling forward. 70- 63

Mercante with more social commentary and life inspirations with "come on lets give them what they came to see" and 'punch more'
This guy is an asshole
Wilson starts 9th hard charging. All will and brass but cannot cut Mchunu off. Throwing wide hooks and Mchunu on his bicycle. Gave Wilson his first round..89-82

Your fight sounds better than Luke Campbell fight I am watching.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Wilson complaining to ref...ref dogs Mchunu like a good puppet...Oh my fuckin god, now this assclown docks a point for holding. That's one way to Wilson to score points. 98-92 Mchunu after BS point loss
