Nice
Rico's only shot at making a name for himself, he came to England and broke jazzas jaw in the second round and then fought that chucky cunt who spazzed out after a shot thrown after the bell.
It's a shame that rigo isn't better known outside of the average boxing fan.
Rigo will out box him and land the cleaner punches but the judges will credit Loma for coming forward and missing punches. Loma will win a controversial decision based on aggression and work rate.
I think Loma will be too big.
Rigo's a fucking cracking boxer, as is Loma, it certainly isn't a fight for the casual fan, it will more than likely be a chess match all the way through.
Loma will be the more aggressive out of the two and I agree with you on that one, that is what will win him the fight.
Also the size advantage swings massively in Lomas favour, I love Rigo and think he's had a hard time of trying to get his name out there, I just can't see anything other than a Loma win.
If it is indeed made then I can't fucking wait for it.

It's on Top Ranks twitter
So Rigo jumps two divisions to go see Loma. In another thread, this was the least of the fights I wanted to see. Will be a good fight to be sure... but too steep of a hill to climb for Rigo. What'll be interesting to see will be the claims from Loma fans who already place him either # 1 or # 2 on the mythical p4p ranking. There's not a hell of a lot at 130 at the moment, but it'll be interesting to see what happens when and if Loma decides to jump to 135.
I've had a wee drink tonight so my brain may not be firing as it should
are you saying it'll be interesting to see what Loma fans say when he moves up because you think he will get beat? or are you just saying that it'll be interesting to see what they say when he beats a smaller man...or both maybe?
again apologies if it is obvious
It's a bit convoluted, I know. And I haven't even had anything to drink yet.
The first "it'll be interesting" is about how Loma fans will rate him on the p4p after he beats Rigo (I'm putting that as a foregone conclusion).
The 2nd "it'll be interesting" is about how Loma will fare if and when he makes the jump to the rougher waters of 135.
Beating a guy 2 divisions lower (as good as Rigo is) does nothing for Loma here in my opinion. There's not even a catch weight so all the props should go to Rigo for stepping up (finally). Rigo is up there in age and his chin has a question mark for me, even tho Loma is not a big puncher. Seems to me Rigo is taking the gamble and cashing out while he still can. I would have much preferred Loma to face Garcia at 135.
