Robbery! Louis was knocked down and clearly outboxed.

He got knocked down in the rematch as well, but ended up knocking Jersey Joe out in the 11th.
Walcott and Charles were really impressive fighters they get overlooked more than say a Larry Holmes does as he was sandwiched between Ali and Tyson they were sandwiched between Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano.
@Master did you know......
According to Jack Rollin's 'Soccer at War' : In England during 1944, Joe Louis was reported to have enlisted as a player for Liverpool Football Club as a publicity stunt.
I didn't know I could be an even bigger fan of 'The Brown Bomber'
I was messing about. That fight was a robbery though but Joe was old and they gave him the win. The second fight was going the same way but Louis showed what a great fighter he was stopped Walcott.
Walcott was a master boxer and loved the way he moved around the ring. Nearly beat Rocky too. Unlucky fighter but that left hook that Walcott knocked out Charles was out of this world!
