Well in San Deigo the other day not only were signs up about his steroid use but he had a syringe thrown at him...San Deigo is not considered a bad place for opposing players, not like NY, Boston, Oakland, and so on. Barry is going to deal with this the WHOLE year....I think he's going to retire mid year, it's going to wear on him and I hate it for him but he brought it on himself

Oh, thanks. We don't get much baseball news in the mainstream here in the UK. I thought that there were less strict rules in baseball about steroid and performance enhancing drugs?

They never check. Why would you need Roids for baseball any way? You could easily reach the fitness level for it... with out taking half the suppliments that other pro athletes take now days.

Physically its not the hardest sport by miles...

It is not about fitness. If you take someone that can hit a baseball and improve their strength then that person can hit that ball harder and farther. That is why some baseball players are or have taken steriods. They are able to get a little more juice ( ) into the ball when they hit it. Personally I dont like baseball anymore, not after the 94 strike. They are just a bunch of arrogant holes that dont care about the game just their wallets.

F**K Bonds, and F**k baseball. Baseball takes skill but not muscles. I know everyone can't be like Babe Ruth, but he pitched, and ,well we know what he did with the bat, without steroids.

They are making it easier to hit homeruns by making the balls harder, and shortening the outfield walls. Why take roids? And I don't want to here any crap about staying healthy. Cal Ripken Jr played how many consecutive games? Like around 2500? He has never tested positve for roids.
