whew, sugar ray leonard! Sooooo smooth! Boxing is such a cruel sport. Those punches thrown were executed sooo nicely and yet filled with every bad intention to hurt.
Good GAWD!
That's Ray in like what? His 12th pro fight? Are you kididng me?
The best part is when he is circling Floyd, like JEB Stuart riding around the Union Army, never hitting him twice from the same spot.
Floyd gets full points for toughness. He really hung in there.

He was a really tough son of a bitch, Sugar had a real mean streak behind that big smile ,that was some ass whipping Mayweather took , SRL was such a unbeleivable fighter.

Ray was one of a kind, the beating Duran laid on him was savage and Ray stopped him in the rematch, and Hearns gave him a good fight too and Ray hung in there.
I still don't think he beat Haggler but to hang tough with him for 15 was a big ask too!

He was a true legend and a true fighter , fought great fighters in great fights , and beat them all , apart from MMH i had a draw too , but still a amazing feat to get the decision , he had the heart of a lion .
That was brilliant from Leonard, prime SRL beats the shoulder roll and skills of Mayweather.

Yep, Ray did have a mean streak, but he always seemed humble outside the ring. (at least in regard to boxing) And I agree, I can't imagine what you could do against a guy like Leonard, who in most cases would be head and shoulders above you in talent/skill, speed and punching power.
That's how you beat the shoulder roll of Mayweather, left hook, timing and a lot of combinations. Quality clip you showed me and reminded me how good Leonard was.
