Why all the hate?
Why all the hate?
He's hate-able.
Because he's like Oscars douchey little parrot. Echoing all the nonsensical tough talk to try and convince himself that he has this in the bag. If you listen to both it's rewording of the same sentiments. Canelo can't think for himself and he has Oscar's hand jammed so far up his chuff that he'll accept anything Oscar has to say because it makes him feel better about himself. It also feels like he gets off on talking smack in the moment when his opponent and the announcers can't understand him or call him on it.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Yes, Canelo is a protected, connected, cheating bully and a wanker ...... but he's also a very good fighter
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
He is, X. No disputing that he's a very good fighter.
That being said, I'm hoping/begging for a KTFO, KOOTY candidate, highlight reel shit.
Me too, I am fervently hoping for a conclusive, controversy free stoppage for GGG.
I never like the 'golden boy' types, I don't approve of his blatant manipulation of weight limits and early weigh ins. I do not like Oscar de la Hoys or Bernard Hopkins. I don't like the way they have conducted themselves during both sets of negotiations.
I don't agree with the tiny 6 month slap-on-the-wrist suspension that did not inconvenience Alvarez one jot. I find it hard to believe that an international athlete, who is aware of contaminated meat in Mexico, and whose trainers are also butchers can gain and lose weight so easily compared to his opponents.
Alvarez was built like a chunk of rock, now he is much more lithe. Funny that.
Boxing has a way of cheating us, so I see more controversy.

I said after the draw in the first fight that it was actually more of an injustice to Canelo. He fought is good fight and gave GGG some trouble. He proved that he was legit, but the controversy with the decision made us lose focus on how well Canelo did.
With that said, he is a cheat and I have no respect for him.

VIDEO has emerged that appears to show Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez collapsing at the weigh-in ahead of his blockbuster rematch with Gennady Golovkin.
The alarming footage was spread around social media ahead of the Las Vegas mega-fight.
The video, taken after the weigh-in, shows Canelo standing in front of a camera, before seemingly losing his balance and slumping into a chair.
It's impossible to tell if Canelo has actually fainted or just lost his balance and fell backwards, with the camera immediately cutting away.
Some viewers have pointed to the way a trainer was holding Canelo's face and the way he seemed to be vacantly staring.
It is not clear what actually happened, with Canelo's camp releasing no statement so far.
The pair are set to fight in Vegas on Saturday night in a rematch of their controversial draw from a year ago.
Since that fight, Canelo has twice been found to have banned substance Clenbuterol in his system.
He later served a drugs ban.
The pair went head-t0-head in a fiery press conference on Friday night - Canelo squaring up to the Kazakh brawler.
Golovkin said it will be worth the wait when the pair finally step into the ring for a rematch.
He said: "This is like a big gift for boxing fans.
Looks like he stood up to quick and got a bit lightheaded and the geezer feeding him a something put him off balance...don't think it is anything to worrying for him
Also looking forward to O'Sullivan vs Lemieux.
