blow your nose, i wouldnt want to spar a guy wiping his nose with his glove mid round :P
That's a fair comment, and if had a nosebleed I would have got rid of the blood. I just never did and (possibly mistakenly) attributed this to the fact that I never blew my nose.

does the size of your nose contribute to its strength? does a bigger nose break easier or will it be stronger than a smaller nose?

if you were to push the tip of my nose it bends and folds all over the show, my ex used to laugh at this lol.
I say a big nose is a bit of an arse as it will soon be hammered flat sooner or later.

All pro boxers have flat noses if you look at photos

I have never had a nosebleed in my life, and I have been punched very hard very many times on the nose.

Not sure of any scientific basis to this, but it seemed to work for me

wouldnt it be better to have a cleared up nose for better breathing in a fight?

what causes the bulbous look of boxer's noses? are they simply flattened and have spread out?

I wish I had never said this now - it is quite disgusting nowadays that I am older and more 'mature' and refined.

I had a clear nose, as I would just snort it backwards and swallow anything that came out

    Ew!!!

lol. I would imagine that it would be annoying to box with a stuffy nose.

cause it is, also increases the chance of a broken jaw if you have to open your mouth to breathe.

get a lump of clay, model it into a nose shape then hit it a dozen times lol.

boxers have flat noses as they have had all the cartilidge (sp?) smashed repeatedly so it cannot support the nose shape any more.
