I agree although it's not like the N'Jikam/Bursak winner is a bad fight. I rank N'Jikam as top 5-10 in the middleweight division. He's a former Olympian etc. However, the upside in facing Geale on HBO is bigger than the upside in defending against N'Jikam. A unification fight with Martinez would be big at the end of the year or early next year.

Yeah..I agree he should drop the belt and take the HBO date with Geale. What sucks is...Pirog was ready and willing to fight N'Jikam in May but the WBO went ahead with the Bursak fight. Oh well...Ishida will do

Tough to call. I've been impressed with Geale recently but if I had to pick...I'd go with the unorthodox Pirog.

I thought pretty highly of N'Jikam awhile back but his opposition has been very weak & he has also been inactive. Didn't he turn down the fight with Pirog?

I don't think he'll care too much for the trinket he's got, if he beats Geale he'll get his anyway...
