Joe should have taken on Sven Ottke and he will eternally be embarrassed that Sven was ranked higher than him when he unified some of the belts. Jow would have beaten Sven but, we will never know.

Yes i can go with that my point about this post' is we should get behind our champ's we dont do that it's a pity if Joe was from the USA with his record of 46 and o we would not here the end of it but that's how it go's. Roy Jone's a few year's back was fighting a bum a month but nothing said about that.

Calzaghe is a great fighter and anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly an inferior human being. Calzaghe was my favourite fighter and I won't hear a bad word said about him. Calzaghe couldn't sucker punch a bee, but never needed to resort to it. A truly sublime, exciting and skilled fighter and no need for that 20 punches a round, tag team Cortez, boring Mayweather nonsense.

P4P Calzaghe outworks Floyd and makes him weep and fall into the arms of Ellerbe. Calzaghe was greater than SRR, SRL and Joe Pesci combined.

so does mine and your records hehe.

tbh i loved JC until the Hopkins fought when his skills got shown up, and he had things to say about Bhop AFTER the fight, which was unecesary. I still like him but he waas lucky he was in a fledging weight division, or he wouldnt be unbeaten.

I was never a calzaghe fan until I saw him putting that boring ass hopkins in his place. Bernard tried to intimidate him with his usual, ignorant shitalking yet Calzaghe wasn't fazed at all.. He actually laughed it off cuz he really didnt give a fuck what this ignorant man was yapping about. Fuckin dirty ass boring punk. Talkin about how he'll never lose to a white boy but then he ends up getting anally raped inside the ring. Man fuck this racist prick.

Anyway, I was never able to get used to Calzaghe because of his punching technique. I know it had to do with his brittle hands but his slapping ways was very unwatchable most of the times. Great fighter though..

Joe has had very bad hand's early as a pro he was a big puncher, but with all the hand trouble he had to turn more to his boxing. And i would say B Hop is a cock was then and still is to this day. i hate that man.

JC is one of the best British fighters definitely, but not THE best.

Pro boxing might be all about money but if that's the case don't moan when you're fighter gets criticised for not taking on certain opposition earlier. Just be happy that you're fighter is filthy rich.

Calzaghe barely travelled, fought a lot of people who were undeserving, pulled out of fights due to injury. Not all his fault I admit and not insulting him but these things have to be taken in to consideration when assessing someone's career.

Lacy was a good performance but he was a hype job. Hopkins performance looks better and better every year but was by the skin of his teeth hardly dominated and set the world alight. Kessler fight was probably his best. He was considered by many to be the next best in the division but had home advantage. (nothing wrong with that but just pointing out a massive advantage).

Carl Froch may have lost against Kessler but was in kessler's place and has faced more top guys 1 after the other than Calzaghe ever did. - Comparing JC against Froch is another discussion i know.
