Him and Verdell Smith were both under investigation for fixed fights. They said that they werent fixed but they wre mismatches intended for them to win.

I guess he was pretty good.......

My big issue with him was the absolute robberies that went in his favor and some of the worst handpicking of opponents in the history of boxing.

Well some of those gifts were late in his career you can not say that his record is fake because of that does not sound to fair

He had a gift against Juan La Porte back in 1986 that should of been his first loss but he isn't a bad fighter pretty silly to call him bad fighter.

Even though JCC did get some gift decisions i think people are very unfair on Chavez he did beat some great fighters and was very exciting fighter to watch i have watched plenty of his fights his body punching was masterful to watch great fighter never ducked anyone i think he deserves and bit more respect than what he is getting.
