Funny that the "Savior of the heavyweight division" has caught so much flack....and it makes me smile knowing that I have been 100% correct about the guy from the get go (well over 2 years mind you). The only thing I can give Haye props for is seeing the final bell which is an acheivement even if he "fought" in such a negative way just because Wlad is a big puncher and I was surprised that Haye took the punches pretty well...actually both guys did for the most part.

Right now Wladimir needs to get another fight lined up with a good up and coming prospect or perhaps even a veteran who's earned another crack at the title. My personal choices are (in no particular order): Povetkin, Arreola, Dimitrenko, Helenius, Chisora(should he beat Fury), Chagaev, Tua (should he beat Barrett), or Mike Perez.

A very very VERY small part of me says "Just fight Holyfield" but I fear for Evander's safety, I have for quite some time. But Evander is all heart and would give Wlad as much of a fight as anyone else, it's sad but true.

Haye should be made to walk the plank. He doesn't deserve a match with Arreola, let alone Wlad.

No rematch with Wlad, but perhaps Haye can bullshit his way into a fight with Vitali, Hint: Just use the broken toe excuse, David.

I'm willing to wager now that re match will happen and will be announced before the month is out.

there's no one else for wlad to fight or make money with.

And you know what? All you will still pay for/watch it.

I would rather watch Wlad fight some guy that I know he will beat and knock out but would at least stand there and try and fight than watch Haye run the whole fight. I would rather see Wlad fight Arreola or Tony Thompson than Haye. At least with these fighters and Adamek you know they are not going to run the whole time. I wouldnt have bought the fight. I only watched because it was on HBO. I rarely buy a PPV because they are usually garbage. I garuntee there wont be a rematch. who would want to watch it? Haye is getting blasted here in the US. One headline "Haye is the biggest heavyweight fraud ever!". haha

Haye's already back peddling on his retirement and says he wants a rematch vs Wlad. Does Haye have no shame?? Haye promised the moon and gave a pathetic effort, just pathetic.

There won't be a rematch any time soon if at all. On what basis would they sell the fight?

Wlad will probably face Chisora after he dismantles Tyson Fury,

I think Wlad will fight Arreola soon and Vitali will fight Haye.

Arreola will tell everyone that he's taking training seriously now and is in much better shape, and Haye will say he's a totally different fighter with a healthy toe.

For the most part Arreola has been training better and staying active.

If Haye does fight again I'm sure it'll be in about a year after he does his usual TV tour. I can't wait for Bunce to buy Haye's alibi.

There's no real grounds for a rematch. Haye was thoroughly outclassed, so I can't see too many people buying into an immediate rematch. How would they promote it? He won 2 rounds if that, and the toe excuse isn't really washing with anyone. I don't think anyone would be sucked into believing it would play out any differently.

If he wants to fight on beyond this October retirement date, then he needs to knock off a few contenders and work his way into contention. I think there's some interesting fights for Haye at HW aside from the brothers. Whether he sticks around long enough to take on any of them remains to be seen.

I wouldn't mind seeing Haye against a few top contenders as well.
(admit it would have been a good idea before as well)
But realistically in a rematch with Wladimir?
Wlad generally tends to perform even better in rematches, so I doubt that would go well for Haye.
