But you can outfight him, Castillo did and in many people's opinion won the fight. Now sure Floyd has improved but we saw Floyd VERY hurt when he was rocked by Mosley. If Canelo was to catch Floyd like that and that's a big IF he would have to put pressure and go in for the knock out. Because that's the only way I can see him beating Floyd putting pressure taking him off his game and hoping for the KO. I feel he would have to do this early as Floyd kinda takes the first rounds easy and feels out his opponent we saw this in the Judah fight were he gave many rounds, when Mosley rocked him early, with Ortiz, Hatton. But he quickly kicks it into gear and dominates in the later rounds. Like I said that's my opinion on HOW he could POSSIBLY win. As per my prediction, I feel like Floyd would outbox him and stop him in the late rounds. Canelo is far too young and not as experienced for Floyd..
I admire your honesty, and your prediction but actually disagree that sugar shane hurt Floyd badly, When you get hurt badly you drop like Khan-Prescott or you get hurt on the ropes like castillo v corrales or tito - campas. But Floyd gets hit really hard and flush but also catches the punch with his arm/shoulder and holds on for a minute, He knows he got tagged and sure he had to hold on or just plain knew what was best for him, but yeah he had some big time wits about him still.

Floyd vs Canelo just doesn't fit. Put Canelo with a puncher.
Maybe cotto but the kid will move up to middleweight soon anyway so fuck it put him against a British middleweight or send him to Germany to take the WBA "we be amatuers"

    Floyd owns Alvarez!

    Preference would be:
    Pacquiao
    Martinez at 154
    Bradley

    Bradley yes!!
But he is too small tbh and that's why caneo can move up and fight middleweights maybe super middleweights.

I was also going to say it will be like the baldomir fight but canelo is more skilled than that so it wont be as bad it'll be similar.

    My prefernce would be;
    1. Pac - just because off all the hype
    2.Martinez - at 154 would be a real superfight
3.Cotto - at 154, years late but cotto showed he still has something left, plus I want cotto to get a huge payday

    At this time No

Any newbie champ against a consistent 12 or maybe 15 year undefeated champion?

    Should be:

1.Floyd-Pac - their consistency reign for a decade as championship caliber fighters and also the hype.

    2.Floyd-Maravilla- interesting ones

Alvarez is 20 years old he hasnt even stopped growing yet.. would not put him at middle yet, until 21 or 22, super middle is a joke for his size..

canelo was fighting at welter not so long ago

No. I like Alvarez and I think he's a good fighter, but there's a world of difference between fighting guys like Ryan Rhodes and Kermit Cintron, and taking on Floyd Mayweather. I don't even think it would be competitive should it be made any time soon.

Christ no........this question is damn near laughable. We want floyd to get a challenge but geeezzzuss. I see absolutly nothing in canelo that says he could beat or even hit floyd more than a couple of times. Most question if the guy can even beat chavez jr but that same fighter could beat the best fighter in the sport Why ? He's not faster, stronger, smarter, etc, shit other than having redder hair he isn't even close in any of these departments...or is it that he proved he can win by beating kermit, or world beater a gomez, we'll just skip ryan rhodes cause it has to be beating hatton not ricky matt that has people asking this question. Floyd is human, he can be beat but picking a new hero of sub par comp every week simply by who just won last is grasping at straws borderline silly at best. Canelo could take the guys he's beaten have them tag in and out between rounds and they still wouldn't beat floyd. Before i stop blabing on. Im in no way saying alvarez is garbage or a bad fighter, i just think these guys should fight each other and earn a spot, im tired of spending 60 bucks for floyd to teach these guys how to box just cause the sport has such a hard dick to see the guy loose.
