To those of you who are into some James Dean type of Rebel without a cause shit, the type of movie where you see a bad motherfucker all sad and shit smoking nonstop cigarettes motherfucking kicking some major ass, Ya need to check out ANDY LAO..

Chow Yun Fat may be known in America but for some reason the real bad motherfucker Andy Lao dont fuck with Hollywood . motherfuckin Andy Lao's masterpiece A MOMENT OF ROMANCE is a must see movie for all men. this shit is like Rebel Without A Cause meets A better Tomorrow combined with some John Wayne, Marlon Brando plus some Deer hunter type of shit..

If ya loved A BETTER TOMORROW, you are going to fuckin love A MOMENT OF ROMANCE.. now dont let the title fool you seriously. I know it might sounds like some romantic movie but it aint nothing like that..

A MOMENT OF ROMANCE is some straight up Hong Kong Triad mobster shit starring Andy Lao and this one other chick i forgot but some of ya might recognize..

I aint gonna spoil it but ill give u a lil taste.. Andy Lao is a good hearted mobster but somehwere along the way he falls in love with a girl he's not supposed to get close to, like some ROmeo and Juliet type of shit...

Well at the end, motherfuckin bad mother Andy Lao gets into a rumble with rival mobsters and he takes a fatal blow to the head, causing internal brain damage.. He starts to bleed from the nose like nonstop and he knows he's going to die..

So being the bad motherfucker that he is, he jumps on his Kawasaki Ninja Bike and rides off to pick up his girl for the one last time.. Once he picks her up, he starts riding fuckin fast with blood pouring down his nose and as they ride past a wedding shop, he stops the bike and shatters the muthafuckin window to grab the wedding dress and he puts it on her...

The girl wears the wedding dress and they start fuckin riding on the Ninja bike as they head towards a church to get married..

If ya were touched by A BETTER TOMORROW, motherfuckin this ANDY LAO movie is gonna make u cry and shit straight to the heart....

i have old man memory, i need to rewatch AMOR... iirc, Johnnie To directed?

The Andy Lau movie I always get choked up about is Casino Raiders 2. He and 2 others are students of a master (gambler/cheating). There's a big tournament coming up and one of the students wants to win and blinds Andy and chops off the right hand of the other student after killing the master.

He sings 1 song in it that is a huge hit for him in it.

This one is one of the most gangster and the saddest scenes ever from Sunflower.. Main character heads to a club by himself after rival mob killed his mother and put his sister in the hospital.. He just lost his mother, what the fuck does have to lose.. So he gets fuckin drunk off his ass off 12 soju bottles smoking nonstop cigarettes and off hsi drunken mind, he heads to the club to kill as many rivals as possible..the sad piano tune in the background just adds to the mood.. fuckin perfect!

The scene where he lights up the cigarette and throws it after taking one drag is the highlight.. it's strictly gangster

Default Tony Jaa's Tom Yum Goong 2 aka The Protector 2

Really disappointed in tom yum goong 2

Perhaps I was looking for a longer long-take (#1 - homage to Bruce Lee's Game of Death - he goes up the floors of the restaurant) or more/better than the penultimate fight in #1 where he broke the arms/legs of 53 guys. if my old man memory is not wrong, yes i sat there and counted 53 guys.

Perhaps it was me watching the movie over 2 nights instead of one sitting. Some of the fight scenes were dark/minimal lighting (IMO to disguise the fact that some of the actors can’t fight onscreen)

JeeJa was in it (Chocolate) and RZA almost looking like stereotypical pimp

Will rewatch at some point, but really disappointed. Perhaps I expected too much.

I think ive posted this video before but Id like to post it again because this scene is the most realistic rumbles ive ever seen in a movie that takes me back to the first time I got into a serious brawl with the Triads.. TBH no bullshit, I was scared shitless the first time I realized that this was some real shit and that somebody could get killed possibly, but i was beyond furious that I was willing to risk it.
