I think it's time PAC gives Soto, Guzman and Valero a shot , the same way Barrera gave him the opportunity back in 03. In all Honesty when Valero came he was being branded as the PAC slayer, and then from that day on I was wishing of PAC stopping this guy. I consider that as PAC's greatest achievement if it happens.

Really? I was high on Valero for a minute, but he is the true definition of a one-trick pony, I would say with all the things that Pac has accomplished in his career, Valero would actually rank pretty low, because what you are saying is that he is a better fighter (bigger challenge) than MAB, Morales and JMM.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I mean Valero's record really looks good on paper and will look good on PAC's resume
The kid is undefeated, young , most probably a world record holder for most consecutive first round kayos

either soto or valero but valero seem to quite down when pac finally notices him
Unless Valero takes out Manny in the first round, it's gonna be a one sided slaughter and Edwin knows that. I would prefer Soto at this stage or even Guzman if something happens to his date with Campbell.
Guzman is who i prefer the most. i don't think soto deserves a shot before guzman cause guzman has a win over him. plus some people think guzman can beat pac so i want to see them proven wrong once again. I think Soto would look a like like how the Diaz fight went, pac will crush him.

The casa jmm fight is another interesting match, i'd love to see the winner face pac as well. So for now my list goes like this of fights i want for pac in order.

Guzman/ but he does have a match with campbell.
    Casa/JMM
Hatton/ also has a fight scheduled already with paulie.

(I do not think the oscar fight will take place any more.)

See either way pac has nobody to fight but valero but that seem to have been distracted by the oscar talks.

All in all I agree with previous.Pac vs.Guzman,Campbell would be top notch. If not for Lorenzo pulling a Luis Santana and Cortez lousing up the Title eliminator,Humberto Soto Vs. Manny would be coming up,Solid fight there.Imo....Pac would exploit Valereo's defensive flaws and really do a number on him.

Solis was a young undefeated figher minus the hyped. I think its pretty clear now that valero would get smash by pac. That fight has lost interest already. I agree with killersheep valero is the lowest rank since solis in pacs resume after he smashes him.

    JMM
    EM
    MAB

    Clearly all greater fighters.

    Diaz
    Larios

Legit former champions and has fought greater oppenents then valero has ever seen.

Solis and Valero would be the two weakest oppenent pac has had since lucero. Another young undefeated fighter pac knock out in 3 rounds.

Pacs resume is second to noun, his weakest oppenents has been young undefeated fighter. So you can not say he does not give chances to the up and comers.

The older one. easily, noone draws more than the Golden Boy period.

Here look at this by CD sales

Oscar de la Hoya - self titled = Amazon rank # 36,171

Manny Pacquiao - Laban Nating Lahat Ito Amazon rank # 441,244

nobody actually likes hearing either one of them sing, but that just shows who is more popular.
    Brilliant.

Greed has it's hallucinogenic effect on people, can't believe PAC's handlers allowing this to happen

If the negotiations will finally fail primarily due to Oscar taking most of the money (70-30 split, TV rights, etc).

Another reason will be that fans/boxing people not giving PAC (with all his capabilities) any chance of defeating Oscar. They see it as a total freak show.

You can associate "greed and money" on Oscar but not on Pacquiao. Do you think money is the prime motivating factor why Pacquiao is calling out and challenging Oscar? I don't think so coz a win over Oscar will elevate Pacquiao's boxing legacy in an all time high.

Defeating Oscar (tho a very difficult task for PAC) would give PAC more leverage in taking remaining bigger fights ahead.
