Amat bro,it's the fact that Oscar is billing this as some type of gift to the fans first and second, he's calling up a small guy to 150,nearly 2 weight jump, and Forbes isn't exactly big. Why couldn't he take on a WW like Collazo etc?

And I think people are just annoyed because there are so many big fights out there and this guy has to come along and blow his own horn and expect everyone to come running.

This is something I don't understand. First, people say De La Hoya has NOTHING to offer in the ring, he can get beaten easily by anybody pretty much, etc. Then you have someone like Forbes to face him and people start crying about it asking for a bigger fight.

Are you ODLH? Don't you have a small WW fight to be hyping up? Anyway all I am asking for is a decent opposition like Collozo, Simms, Ouma, etc.

I hope Forbes can box his way to a UD over a weight-drained and uninspired ODH, but I doubt it happens; Forbes is just too small. Though I bet even if Forbes won, PBF-ODH II would still go through.

Finally! The much anticipated mega-fight between De la Hoya and Forbes is ON!!! Whew!! What TOOK the matchmakers so long? Where's the fight taking place? Gotta get some tickets, before they're all sold out. Hah! Who said 2007 would be hard to top?
