and i do prefer lace up bc you can lace them yourself and slide you hands into them and they will stay on good (bc they are designed so that you hands will fit if you have handwraps on)
i think whatever im buying..... im doing it tommorow, ill let u guys know what i decide
I have two pair of Everlast Velcro 12 oz gloves that I use to box with my friends/enemies/other. And they work Great! I got them at a sporting good store for 25 bucks a pair on sale. So I consider them to be good gloves. I have also used century gloves and crappy lace up flea market ones. The Century black ones, also 12oz were good and probably equal to my Everlast ones, except they were elastic. Any way Everlast is a good brand IMO.

Well listen, if you ask a Pro Ice hockey player(NHL), what is the most important piece of ice hockey equipment to you... they will ALL say "good quality ice skates"...so if you ask me about cheap boxing gloves, I don't recommend a cheap pair of boxing gloves because you could hurt your hands or wrist... as a boxer I think my gloves are the #1 most important piece of equipment if I'm boxing... rememeber that old say..."you get what you paid for"... sometimes it doesn't hurt to spend a couple extra bucks to get a decent pair of gloves.
