Yes that was a good performance and he needs to do the same against Maidana and win easily.

All these years and I'm still amazed. My favorite part is the crowds erupting for the opponents hitting NOTHING. That's how you get shit scorecards.

Floyd's been on top for so long, people take his skills for granted. I think Floyd is one of those guys that will be more appreciated in hindsight, when all the bullshit and scandal is ancient history and people only have his fight tapes to look back on.

If you take the whole package into consideration, I always say there's Floyd, there's SRR, and then there's everybody else. Floyd is possibly the greatest boxing talent of all time - yes, all time - and the only guy in the same discussion is Ray Robinson.

And the Canelo stuff... Floyd is 36 years old, 17 years into his pro career, doing that and looking that sharp. How many guys in the history of boxing looked that incredible so long into their careers? Bhop? Maybe a handful of others?

Toney could still do it at that age too. Don't forget how sharp he was after first jumping up to HW. Toney could still do it until his late 30's and beat Peter first time out IMO. Few people of that stature or height go up to HW and hold their own.

Yeah James was great but with his added weight he wasn't nearly as quick or agile.

And yeah I agree he got robbed vs Peter.
