Castillo Mayweather 1...........what sucked most?

OK, I have rewatched this one and will give my scoring for it before I comment.

As you can see, I scored this a draw 113-113

So what sucked most about this fight?

1) The referee was absolutely awful. He missed alot of low blows from Castillo throughout the fight and was plain negligent when Castillo turned Mayweather and was punching him from behind. Castillo actually stopped himself and they both looked at the referee as if to say wtf

Then he insited on breaking up almost every exchange.

2) The judges scorecards. I can forgive a 2 point victory to Mayweather, but scoring it 115-111, 115-111 and 116-111 was insane. How could there have even been a 116-111 scorecard from the thai judge?

As an observation, Mayweather was largely innactive with his right from the 10th on. He usually launches a few good jabs from his shoulder roll position, but he seemed to only do that if Castillo had left a huge opening.

What I loved most was probably the 11th when Mayweather showed complete willingness to trade blow for blow, great to watch

Was that Vic Drakulich as the ref in that fight?

I remember he ref'd one of the Mayweather-Castillo fights (can't remember if it was I or II), and at one point he broke the fighters up, and warned them both to "settle down."

Merchant also jumped into the ring, he was so pissed. Merchant was screaming into the mic, "Settle down? Settle down? It's a FIGHT!!"
