    Got me there, I think his competition was easier though. Also in terms of how Bernard reigned (alot of boring fights), he was really conservative compared to Hagler, just didn't combine his technical attributes with killer instinct. Marvelous Marvin was a different kinda animal. If they'd fought I can't say Nard would get ko'd, but it'd be a lopsided decision. I think anywho

    although Hopkins was a great champ, Haglers opponants were alot better opposition

    Just in terms of fighting style Hagler and Hearns were in no way similar.

    Hopkins is a very mechanical defensive fighter, maybe a middleweight version of Jack Johnson?

    Hatton fights very much in the style of Carmen Basillio, a relentless pressure fighter.

    i felt like early before the second erik morrales fight pac fought exactly like tyson..i thought it was mostly due to roach training him and he did train mike for a little while....
