Default How did we all score it??

Cotto started off like a steam engine but even miguel was shocked at clotteys power and punch resiliance.

Through 9-10 i had clottey taking the fight and can imagine your regular cotto fan had their hearts in their mouths at that point.

But miguel pulled it out the bag late on and i had the knockdown being the decisive factor in the fight.

    Cotto 114-113.

I could also agree with 115-112 Cotto or Clottey with the same scores.

    Close fight.

115-112 Cotto for me. Like I said in another thread, I had it 85-85 going into the 10th, and Clottey lost the last 3 rounds on my card. Some of the rounds were very close though. People screaming robbery in a close fight is beyond me.

114-113 Cotto for me as well, Clottey falling asleep in the last three rounds did it for him.

I haven't seen the fight since this morning and didn't do a clear RBR but those are the kinds of scores I think I would go with. It was a close fight and going into the 11th I really wasn't sure if Cotto had anything left.

The cut was the main factor in the swing IMO. Cotto wasn't really being hit with anything big until the vision became impaired and he couldn't see Clottey's right which began to land at will.

    Decent fight.

I had Cotto winning by a point (114-113)

Clottey had a great fight until he started looking for fouls, I can't STAND that shit. I hope he never gets a big fight again.

I think cotto def deserved to win, he changed and adapted to his cut. Clottey although tough as nails, failed to adapt and take advantage when he really should have.

114-113 Cotto. The 12th round was crucial for both fighters cuz I had it even in my scorecard after the 11th. My card was very similar to Lederman's.

114-114 draw. 6 rounds Clottey, 5 rounds Cotto, 1 even, Take a point from Clotty for the knockdown. I was pretty much agreeing with how Steward had it up until his emotions got the better of him. Cant fault him for that though, thats why I like him, he honest about it. Didnt agree with the Lederman card as usual, though all in all HBO did a nice job, and as much as I dont like him, credit to Kellerman for a job well done last night.

I gave Cotto the fight by 1 point

114-113 is how I scored it due to the knockdown in the first.

Robbery no way, how would my reaction been if Clottey won the fight?

I would have said he earned it,

Thhis was a fight that either man could have won and rounds were so close, IMO it was the last couple of rounds that won it for Cotto....

114-113 either way really, have seen it twice and have seen it both ways.

Clottey appeared the better fighter, he won his rounds more clearly (except for obviously the sixth) but its not just about that, he gave away some rounds and obviously the knockdown was huge.
