At least he has the balls to fight the best out there (In Martinez)... I honestly don't know why you hate this guy so bad. The dude is pretty mellow it's not his fault he is his fathers son and has a huge following. I used to think Chavez Jr was a bum but he proved he is at least a legit good fighter when he beat Andy Lee. I don't know maybe you're upset there's no young rican with a following like him. Sure he started off slow, partly due to no amateur background.. But hey man he is stepping up to the plate now. Losing to the #3 pound for pound fighter?.. Yeah that will exposed him huh? <_<

OUR young, PUERTO RICAN fighters... who happen to be sons of great fighters from the past (Wilfredo Vazquez Jr., Hector Camacho Jr.) don't hang on to daddy's coat tails, nor do they get free rides from boxing organization presidents who are chummy with their famous dads.

    OUR fighters EARN their records.

Oh....... and Baby Chavez doesn't "have the balls to face the best out there", as you claim.
He was dragged kicking and screaming into making the match, 'cause public opinion had grown so strong that Junior was avoiding Martinez, and bloating his record with nothing but bums (just like his dad did).

Finally...... OUR fighters don't avoid urine tests and bloat up 20 pounds over their weigh-in weight under suspicious circumstances.

But feel free to let me know if you need any FURTHER clarifications.

You die hard Sr fans crack me up as does most Mexican ATG polls that default to him. He's like a box of well known cereal that pops into peoples heads when the topic arrives at the water cooler. Do you remember the Ruiz fight in 1981? That is where the coddling started and it has carried over for the last 25 years including his son. Nice to fight everyone when you have a permanent hand of three aces. The family bbq's with the Sulaimans were probably special. Shit google ole Jose and Chavez Sr pops up.

What makes you think I'm even a SR fan let alone a "Die Hard one" idiot. If you would pay attention to my picture I have Whitaker on it. What fucking SR fan would have him in the pic? Way to start off a sentence like a dumbass. I'm not a Chavez SR fan never liked the dude, I'm not even a JR fan but I respect him for stepping up to the plate against Martinez. I'm not defending him I was just asking Tito why he has such a hard on for him. If anything attack me for being a Caleno fan not a JR fan.

Oh come on bro.. You're talking about Wilfredo Jr who's daddy is always in the ring with him? The only difference is that Chavez following is bigger and it transferred over. Wilfredo Jr is milking the daddy name for all he can just that he's not a big draw like Chavez. But Wilfredo Jr is actually a tough sob.. so I won't diss him. Chavez Jr didn't have to fight Martinez he would still be getting money. Look at Mayweather and Pac people have been screaming for that fight and they still continue to fight and avoid each other. Now the bloating up and avoiding urine test I can't argue that and won't try to.. Honestly like I said I'm not really a fan of the dude just wondering why mexican fighters give you hard ons that's all.. :P ..

I cannot watch it, just makes me feel sick watching a manufactured fighter.

Vazquez Jr having his dad in the ring with him is LIGHT-YEARS different from Papa Chavez pulling strings with the WBC and his chum, the corrupt Jose Sulaiman... now isn't it?

You keep harping on Chavez Jr's following. There's well over 100 million Mexicans, to just over 4-5 million Puerto Ricans. Logically, there's more fans of Chavez Jr than there are fans of Vazquez Jr. Make sense? You have absolutely NO knowledge of the boxing fan base here in Puerto Rico, just like I make no claims of knowing anything about the Mexican fan base.

We'll continue to disagree about Martinez. You talk like Junior seeked him out. Far to the contrary. The Chavez consortium, including Sulaiman, finally yielded to growing public pressure that Junior fight Martinez and stop protecting that artificial "0" of his.

Finally, you have always chosen to concentrate on my posts against some Mexican fighters.... and have always chosen to ignore my posts where I support and back other Mexican fighters. Why is that? Please give me a serious answer this time.

I want to see all those who seem to dislike Jr. will say IF…IF…Jr. ended up winning convincingly with no controversy what so ever.

As for those who are ok with him, including myself, I don’t expect him to win so it’s not like I will be shocked if he loses. So you’ll see me giving credit to Maravilla just fine if he also wins convingincly with no controversy.

If that were to be the case..... I'll give him his due props.
Unlike others I'll choose not to name, I come in here.... win or lose.

Good. We’ll see what happens then.
I am probably going to get some tomatoes thrown at me but I…do root for Jr. But at the same time, I am no fanboy who blinds himself from things that just look a bit fishy even for guys I like. I hope he plays by the rules, get tested just like Martinez will, makes agreed weight, and so on.

I don't dislike him as a person. I don't know him. I dislike the set up. I dislike the relationship his family has with the Wbc as I did with Don King. I dislike a fighter coming to the ring at a buck 85 to fight for the middleweight title and announcements of same day weigh ins that are not same day at all. I dislike giving someone a pass on a piss test.

If he does what you say he may do then props.
